Gnawt-a-Cone™ Throw Toy

natural rubber throw toy

Color

Selected: Lichen Green

Central Oregon’s Ponderosa pine trees offer a bounty for pinecone-obsessed canines and inspiration for the Gnawt-a-Cone. This resilient, natural latex rubber pine cone dog toy resembles the popular Pacific Northwest token, and it’s designed to engage and reward our canine friends. The faceted surface creates a fun, erratic bounce, and an easy-to-clean internal chamber holds peanut butter, biscuits, banana, or just about any treat your explorer goes wild for.

Check out the Gnawt-a-Stick™ and Gnawt-a-Rock™ - the other two toys in the Pacific Gnaw-west toy collection inspired by the natural surroundings in Ruffwear’s home of Bend, Oregon.

One Size: 3 in W x 4 in H (7.5 x 10 cm)

Our toys are designed to be interactive - it's just more fun that way. While our toys suit a range of play styles, dogs can be crafty and determined chewers, so supervised play is recommended. If any part of the toy becomes loose or detached, take the toy away and discard.

    Gnawt-a-Cone

Just got the Gnawt-a-Cone toy for my service dog. He is a young goldendoodle with tons of energy. I put some of his favorite snacks inside and he chooses on it and pushes it around the floor with his nose for about 30 minutes straight. A real good way to tire him out and make him feel engaged. Definitely would buy this one again… And he’s pretty picky about his toys.

    Corgi’s love them!!

Our newest addition to the family absolutely loves her newest toy. She was the first dog that we have had in a long time that loved chewing on things she shouldn’t. We tried multiple other toys that she didn’t go for before ordering the Gnawt-a-Cone. She absolutely loves chewing and fetching her Gnawt-a-Cone and also looks great in all her new Ruffwear gear.

    My dog(s) love it

the erratic behavior of the Gnawt-a -Cone seems to be the key! The young one ( 8 months) particularly loves it. The older one (3 years) plays with it in tandem when the young one gets involved. Mostt probem I find is that they take it outside and it gets lost till I find it and retrieve it. Think I will buy a yellow one next time!!!
