Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Jacket no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

The Vert™ Jacket features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    Adjustable straps allowed this to fit perfectly.

    We tried the Cloud Chaser in an XSmall and a Small, but one was too tight and the other too large. The Vert fits great in an XSmall, RuffWear customer support was great throughout the process. Thanks!

    The Vert Winter Dog Coat is awesome!

    Our ~55 pound lab/boxer/pit mix loves her Vert coat! It’s made of great material (almost like a more durable puffy jacket) and keeps her warm and cozy on all of our chilly winter walks.

    The Vert Winter Coat comes in very handy when we’re out exploring our new surroundings in Denver, CO.

    Mornings and late afternoons are typically clear skies and cold. This light weight, yet very warm jacket keeps Fiona warm and not once has she rolled around on the ground trying to get it off! It’s a keeper!

    Great Ftit, Lightweight Warmth!

    I looked at several styes of winter coats for our active 14 month old Bernedoodle. I wanted something lightweight and wam with secure fastners. This meets all those requirements It's the perfect coat for our Sally! We already have a Ruffwear raincoat so I knew the quality would be good. The hidden buckle clips are a little awkward to use but the other features make the hassle worthwhile.
